FINALS SCHEDULE 2024

Thursday September 5th

    • Move In anytime after 2 pm
    • Open Arena 2 pm-4 pm
    • Time Onlies 4-6 pm – $5 per minute

Friday September 6th

    • Open Arena 7-9 am
    • Time Onlies 9-11 am – $5 per minute
    • *****ANNUAL MEETING 12 NOON*****
    • Race Start 2 pm. Will run Pee Wees, Open, $3500, $1000 then 5D

Saturday September 7th

    • Race starts at 9 am. Will run Pee Wees, Open, $3500, $1000 then 5D.
    • Awards – Approximately 3 hours after the last rider runs. Drinks, sandwiches & dessert provided. It will be held on the arena concourse. Bring a chair
    • IF YOU CAN NOT BE THERE FOR AWARDS AND ARE IN THE AVERAGE OR YEAR END AWARDS, YOU MUST DELEGATE SOMEONE TO GET YOUR AWARD. WE WILL NOT MAIL ANY AWARDS OUT.

Important Details:

  • **PLEASE NOTE: The yearly member meeting will be held at 12 noon on FRIDAY on the arena concourse. Bring a chair. – OBRA members HAVE to attend to get extra 10 points**
  • **OBRA Members remember to bring a silent auction item to finals, if you have not brought one to either fundraiser race to get your extra 10 points!**
  • Fees For OBRA Finals:
    • $25 Pee Wees, run twice, paybacks & prizes
    • $120 total for all OBRA Classes, includes 2 runs and average
    • $180 total for the 5D, includes 2 runs and average
    • $25 for office/arena fee
    • $30/night for stalls. Includes one bag of shavings. Additional bags available. Stalls do not need to be cleaned before you leave. Stalls will be assigned so make sure to state if you want to be stalled by anyone when you enter
    • $30/night for RV Hookups. Dry camping is $10/night
    • $25 late fee if not pre-entered by 9/1
  • Entries Open August 15th!

      • Rider Name
      • Horses Name
      • Classes/5D and if entering OBRA Class are you rolling to the 5D
      • If you want time onlies on Thursday or Friday

  • Buy In Information (This if for the 5D Only. You cannot buy into OBRA Classes):
    • Non-member: $125
    • Member with need for additional Nomination: $75
    • Member who have nominated but lack enough qualifying runs: $50
  • As a reminder:
    • Dress code applies when competing. Long sleeve western shirts, jeans, boots and either a cowboy hat or helmet are to be worn. (No boobs, butt or belly showing)
    • Make sure to check in upon arrival. Upon doing so, please sign up to help in the arena with setting barrels and opening gates.
    • Harassment or aggressive behavior to the board, committee members or any volunteers will not be tolerated. You will be excused from the remainder of the events with no refund.
    • No pets allowed in the arena per facility. Only service animals.
    • Clean up after yourself or you will be fined
